Girl Time: In Sickness

I cannot explain how it felt to be 1000+ miles away and hear you were doubling over in pain and crying and on your way to urgent care only to be turned away because they were not equipped to deal with abdominal issues. There are no words. Not in my vocabulary.

Thank goodness Texas Children's ruled out anything abdominal and the doctor who saw you tested you for strep that, apparently, on rare occasions, will lead to stomach pains as a symptom. Strep we can deal with.
A little amoxicillin and we can kiss strep goodbye;
Adios strep!  You aren't welcome here. Get to steppin'.
We will just sleep this off.
And maybe secretly relish taking a sick day... Something I wasn't able to ever really do before.
Um, new day, new fever. Not cool strep, you are not going away after 24 hours of medicine.
Ah, that's because you invited your friend the flu to come to this party. I'm too old for this. (She is too cute).
At this point we were all a little bit delirious from either high fever, lack of sleep or a little bit of both.

What Have YOU Been Up To????

As for us, we...

Made it through the first few weeks of school (the parents in the house, barely):
Celebrated 7 years:
Perhaps a little too much:
Started dance class:
Continued dominating in cuteness:

Went to Chicago:
Almost died there (though in excellent company!):
Got sick with strep... And the flu... At the same time. (But at least it wasn't appendicitis!!!):
But maintained our style and good cheer:

That seems like a good overview...

Though I'm sure I've left a few things out...

Though based on the above can you understand how that might happen????
